Cloche Party~My Piano Top

Thursday, April 1, 2010

My favorite display area in my home is the top of my 1882 Epworth Upright Grand Piano. It is all decked out for spring with a little touch of Easter too! Thanks to the lovey Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for hosting this great party!

Where did you find all those beautiful different cloches pieces? I love this so much! A Colorado Hug from Me to You!

  1. I love the way you filled one to the top with candy eggs! I'm going to have to steal that idea someday. I bought a glass dome to put over my wedding topper, and it ended up not now I'm just stuck with it! I've been wondering what to do with I know!

  1. oooooohhhh! You have so many pretties under glass! Thanks for sharing.

Oh Gail...this is just such an outstanding display of your beautiful collections! Very very pretty!
I have just GOT to go purchase a "proper" cloche if I'm going to keep doing these parties. I stretch the definition just so I can play along.

    Happy Easter!

I love the cloches. I have always wanted one but the are so spendy. Your large one with the urn and silk flowers is spectacular! The closest I come to a cloche is a vintage glass insulator turned over some small bloom or my cheese dome to accent some piece! They are all so pretty! Thanks for sharing them.

  1. What a wonderful spot to display your pretty things. I love how it all works so well together. You really did a great job and it is interesting and lovely without being too cluttered.

I love the bird/nest/egg theme you used for the piano vignette. I concentrated on pretty much the same thing. *grin* The large plaque on the easel is so pretty, as are all the postcards? you used throughout. Everything is so fresh, spring-like, and pretty! I took your button and have added you to favorites. I am finally getting back to some normalcy and will be able to visits blog friends more often now that Mr. S is home and doing much better. Have a blessed Easter holiday!

  1. Mrs. P- I love this vignette! There are so many soft and springy things to see! Each cloche is a little work of art. Eggs, baskets, flowerss (with that precious bee hive)! You have put this together masterfully by tying all the things inside the cloche with beautiful elements outside. And using all glass is so BEAUTIFUL!!!! Wonderful post. Now I need to go back and get a second look. There are many things to discover!
    Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday!

  1. What a stunning display of crystal and cloches. All of them are decorated so beautifully. I love all the nests, baskets, flowers and eggs. Your piano is gorgeous with such beautiful things and displays. Thanks so much for joining the party. Beautiful. Hugs, Marty
