I really need this cookbook. My go-to casserole is so boring - beef, tomato and macaroni. Blah! Help me :)

Oh, this looks wonderful! I love cauliflower. Definitely trying this one.
My favorite GP recipe is one from a Christmas book a few years ago for gingerbread bowls. We've made them several times as teacher gifts, and they're always fun!

I've got everything to make this - looks like it will be on the menu soon. My favorite GP recipe is from 101 Easy Everyday Recipes -- Company Green Beans. It's another go to recipe that uses staples I always have on hand!

That casserole looks sooo good! My favorite Gooseberry patch book is a older one For Bees and me.Warm Blessings!~Amy

I am so not a fan of cauliflower however.....this recipe looks like it may just change my mind.
My go-to casserole would have to be Chicken pot pie. Technically it may not be a casserole, but it sure does make everyone's tummy happy! Tator tot casserole is close second.
I love your blog and have been a follower for sometime now. I am also connected with you via facebook & pintrest.

I love cauliflower, and this looks like a fantastic way to use it! Thanks for sharing.
Most of my favorite Gooseberry Patch cookbooks are the older ones, too. I love Good For You! and get that out to browse through every spring and summer. Lots of healthy ideas in that one. Another favorite -- it was the first one I bought, but has many of my favorite recipes in it -- is Welcome Home for the Holidays. It's a very versatile cookbook since it has recipes and ideas for the harvest season all the way up through Christmas. And a sentimental favorite is Simple Joys of Christmas, because I have both a recipe and a memory in that one, and I gave copies of that book to both of my daughters and my daughter-in-law.

Ingrid -- thanks for catching that. You do cook and mash the cauliflower. I've added that to the recipe. ENJOY and Happy Mother's Day :)
