Cervical Cancer Awareness & A Prayer Request

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Have you entered in for the Mikasa giveaway? Please take a good look at the fabric I chose to make the napkins for this tablescape. Teal is the color of the ribbon for Cervical Cancer Awareness.

A sweet young woman that I work with has a dear sister-in-law, Laura who is in the fight for her life against this dreaded foe. Laura is a young wife and mother. Please add Laura to your prayer list and speak her name to the Father. Thank-you!

  1. I was about to close the computer for a while, but when I see "prayer request" I come running. Prayers for Laura and her family will be coming from my house.

  1. Mrs. P! What a fun fabric and yet a somber reminder that this terrible disease causes so many to battle for their lives! I will pray for your dear Laura and ask our Father to protect and heal her!
God bless you, my wonderful friend, for your soft and dear hear!

Felt especially blessed today when I found your blog and so enjoyed browsing around! I am not as consistent with my blog as I would like to be, but I definitely love to visit others. I am now following yours, and will look forward to coming back again soon. I will also put Laura and her family on my prayer list.

  1. Prayers are going up right now for Laura right now. One of my best friends had cervical cancer and survived. She was in her mid-20s and is doing great now about 20 years later.

  1. I will keep Laura in my thoughts and prayers. My grandmother had cervical cancer in her 40s and lived to be 93 years old. I wish the same for your friend.
    Hugs, Sherry
