ME - A to Z!

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

My sweet friend Tina (akagramma) posted this on her blog and I thought I'd join in on the fun!

A. Age: 51

B. Bed: King-sized, covered in a colorful quilt (browns & teal blue) and LOTS of pillows.

C. Chore you hate: Laundry – nuff said!

D. Dog: one sweet corgi dog named Josey.

E. Essential start to your day: COFFEE! Walk, shower & low carb breakfast.

F. Favorite Color: RED!

G. Gold or Silver: I used to be totally gold but now lean more towards silver.

H. Height: 5’2” – I am a shorty and I like that.

I. Instruments you play: None! I love music and have a antique upright grand piano in my home but don't play – is it too late to learn?

J. Job Title: Mom, soon-to-be GiGI (grandma), daughter, sister, Accounting Secretary, blogger.

K. Kids: I have some, lol… 4 to be exact – 2 sons and 2 daughters (s-28, d-25, s-18 & d-17)

L. Live in: Nebraska, USA

M. Make of Car: I drive a mom-mobile, Honda Odyssey.

N. Nicknames: My grandma used to call me Suzy-Q – my aunt recently called me that and it took me back a LOT of years, lol. My middle name is Sue.

O. Overnight Hospital Stays: Reconstructive Jaw Surgery when I was 14, C-Section x4.

P. Pet Peeves: Tardiness – mine or someone else’s. I was raised in a Military home.

Q. Quote from a movie: “The condition for a miracle is difficulty, however the condition for a great miracle is not difficulty, but impossibility.” ~ Faith Like Potatoes

R. Right or Left Handed: Right

S. Siblings: I am the oldest of 4 – me, sister, brother, sister. We’re close in age (6 year span between all of us) but all spread out location-wise. Sisters in CA and brother in AZ.

T. T.V. Shows: Not much of a television watcher – big fan of Martha Stewart but she comes on when I am at work and if I did record it I’d forget to watch it. Cooking programs where they actually cook (I HATE cooking competition shows).

U. Underware: Yes, thank-you, lol!

V. Vegetable You Hate: Spaghetti Squash – ewwww!!

W. What makes you run late: Refer to P – I can’t be late – I hear my father’s voice tell me how disrespectful that is, lol. Maybe traffic but I don’t encounter much of that.

X. X-Rays: Jaw, dental.

Y. Yummy Food That You Make: Love to bake so it would have to be something baked -- or some sort of comfort food. My family is generally pretty happy with whatever I make!

Z. Zoo Animal: I grew up in San Diego and we hung out at the zoo every chance we got. I always loved the elephants this time of year when they were given pumpkins to play with and eat.

Cute Gail. We like short, our CC is five foot-just. We are trying to find her a bike to ride at college and it is very very hard.
